Jeep Wrangler Windshield Wipers Will Not Turn Off. I have a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited x, i put the car in reverse this morning and the horn started beeping, the windshield wipers went on and wiper fluid started shooting out of the car. I could fiddle with the lever to get it back to normal.

When the relay isn't working properly it's either going to shut your wipers down completely or disable them such that once you turn them on you're not going to be able to turn them off again. Sometimes they work , sometimes they don't.
